Atlanta: Georgia: On May 17, 2019, The International Convention of Jehovah Witness started at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, GA. The City of Atlanta welcomed over 46,000 visitors for this special convention. This included 5,000 international delegates from 39 countries.
Many of the attendees were welcomed by host committees at the Hartsfield International Airport. The City of Atlanta was the host of the 1996 Summer Olympics and 2019 NFL Superbowl and is currently the home of Coca Cola, UPS, Newell Rubbermaid, and other Fortune 500 corporations. In a well-organized and professionally executed partnerships with the Atlanta Visitor’s Bureau, MARTA, and hotels in the area, the 2019 International Convention was hosted at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
